She spent the first few years of her career in the hospitality and travel industry and then gained extensive experience in marketing and sales, consulting, customer service, general human resource functions and recruitment and head-hunting in various industries including placing candidates in finance, actuarial, medical and other roles, and at Elchemie specialising in recruitment for the chemical and allied industries mainly for roles in engineering, scientific, supply chain, financial, production and process, sales and marketing

Elisabeth – Managing Director PE-Chemie (Pty) Ltd
Elisabeth started Elchemie in 2000 as a specialised technical and scientific recruitment agency, her ND Analytical Chemistry, BTech Watercare, PBL; experience in a mining laboratory, industrial water treatment sales and service and compliance management (ISO 9001 implementation, ISO14000 etc, Responsible Care) being an ideal background to understand the staff requirements of clients in the chemical and allied industries; her water treatment clients included any industry with boilers, cooling systems, industrial effluent, requiring a good knowledge of processes at client companies.
