About the Role
We’re looking for an Operations Manager to lead service delivery and drive customer satisfaction across multiple client sites in the Western Cape. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who thrives on achieving operational excellence, building strong client partnerships, and leading high-performing teams.
You’ll play a pivotal role in managing people, performance, and profitability—ensuring service contracts run smoothly while continuously improving quality, compliance, and results.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Lead and supervise all daily contract operations with focus on client satisfaction
• Build and manage strong supplier and client relationships
• Oversee new site launches, transitions, and contract handovers
• Monitor delivery of SLAs, cost management, and service quality
• Ensure prompt resolution of issues and proactive client engagement
• Manage operational budgets, wage control, and resource planning
• Conduct regular audits and risk reviews to meet H&S compliance
• Perform leadership duties such as staff reviews, performance discussions, and team development
• Collaborate with management on strategic planning and reporting
• Identify growth opportunities through upselling and relationship development

 

What You’ll Need
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations or facilities management (preferably in cleaning or hospitality support services)
• Strong leadership, resource planning, and client-facing capabilities
• Solid understanding of budgeting, contracts, SLAs, and cost controls
• In-depth knowledge of South African H&S legislation and compliance
• Ability to develop teams, manage performance, and promote accountability
• Experience in forecasting, reporting, and delivering business KPIs
• A proactive, reliable, and solutions-driven approach
• Relevant management qualification (advantageous)
