Customer Desk Service Representative
Location: East Rand, Gauteng
Industry: Chemical Manufacturing
Type: 3 month Fixed Term Contract
About the Role
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for the Customer Desk role. You will be responsible for ensuring communication by the customer desk is done in a timely and efficient manner and ensure efficient information and communication flow between Customer Desk, and internal departmental teams, (e.g. Sales Managers, Production, Demand Planner, WH/Logistics, and procurement). You will drive attention to customer complaints and ensuring resolution.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction4Sales order processing
- Job Card Closing
- Actively ensures fulfilment of the requirements of the Management System, and ERP system processes
- Supports a continual improvement process e.g. as Power User Order to Cash (customer service, costs, efficiency; team capability, processes, data, systems)
- Assist in logging customers complaints and record in OTIF report
- Register of MSDS, TDS, Credit applications is kept and updated.
What You’ll Need
- Commercial education or higher degree
- 5 years in sales, customer desk and/or supply chain experience preferable in chemical industry
- ERP knowledge
- Office tools
- Production planning
- Demonstrate Quality Skills level 2
